With a strong operational footprint and a focus on performance, safety, and compliance, the business is supported by a centralised corporate function based in Brisbane.
This opportunity has arisen due to extended leave within the team, requiring an experienced HR leader to step in and maintain continuity across the function.
About the role:
The Human Resources Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing HR operations across multiple regions. This is a hands-on role, combining strategic input with day-to-day delivery across the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner closely with stakeholders while leading a small HR team and ensuring the smooth running of HR and payroll functions.
The role is Brisbane based with no site travel required.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a senior HR Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong capability across employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
- Experience overseeing payroll and understanding of legislative obligations
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation including Fair Work and Modern Awards
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within industrial, mining, or related environments is highly regarded
- 6-month contract with immediate start and potential for extension
- Attractive Hourly Rate with weekly pay
- Brisbane CBD location with no travel requirements
- Broad, end-to-end HR scope with direct exposure to senior leadership
