The Opportunity
 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a well-established organisation during a busy and exciting period.

Based in Brisbane CBD, you'll work closely with senior leadership and managers across the business, providing practical HR advice and support while contributing to key people initiatives and projects.

Offering broad exposure across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, HR systems and compliance, this role is well suited to someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a hands-on generalist environment.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll partner with managers and employees to deliver effective HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing timely HR advice and support to managers and employees
  • Supporting performance management, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
  • Managing probation and performance review processes
  • Conducting exit interviews and supporting employee engagement initiatives
  • Assisting with workforce planning and recruitment activities
  • Supporting reward and recognition programs
  • Maintaining and administering the UKG HRIS platform, ensuring employee records and workforce data remain accurate and up to date
  • Producing HR reports, workforce metrics and organisational updates
  • Assisting with policy development and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
  • Supporting organisational structure updates, role profile development and broader HR initiatives
About You

This opportunity will suit a confident HR Advisor or HR Generalist who enjoys building relationships and providing practical solutions across a broad range of HR matters.

You will bring:
  • 3+ years' experience in a HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar position
  • Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, National Employment Standards and employment law
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations
  • Demonstrated experience using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) HRIS is essential
  • Strong HR systems capability, including reporting, data management and maintaining employee records
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline are highly regarded
