We’re partnered with a well-established mining organisation in the Bowen Basin, seeking an experienced HR Superintendent to support site-based operations.
This role is a key link between site leadership and the broader HR function, providing hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, workforce planning, and day-to-day HR delivery.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders on site to drive consistent outcomes across culture, performance, and compliance, while operating in a fast-paced, operational environment.
This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term stability within a well-performing asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR support across site operations and the full employee lifecycle
- Partner with leaders to deliver practical, commercially sound HR solutions
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and case management
- Support workforce planning, performance management, and development initiatives
- Contribute to enterprise agreement implementation and IR processes
- Drive engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives on site
- Work closely with the broader HR team to ensure alignment across the business
- Proven HR experience within mining or heavy industry environments
- Strong capability across employee relations and industrial relations
- Confident partnering with operational leaders in a site-based setting
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board medical or willing to obtain
