We've partnered with a leading heavy equipment service provider to find an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their Nelson-based team. Working across the construction and forestry sectors, you'll have the opportunity to work on a range of heavy equipment while being supported by a well-established and growing business.
This role offers a mix of workshop and field service work. You'll be joining a close-knit team of experienced technicians and supportive leadership who are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults across a range of construction and forestry equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Work both in the workshop and on-site supporting customers when required.
- Accurately complete service reports, job documentation, and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard of workmanship

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- NZQA Level 4 Heavy Diesel qualification or equivalent trade qualification
