We’re chasing an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic for a busy civil/transport equipment workshop in Whanganui . You’ll be working on earthmoving gear, trucks, trailers and hydraulic systems , keeping machines running and ready for work. Solid hands‑on experience is essential.

What you’ll be doing
  • Diagnostics, servicing and repairs on heavy diesel equipment
  • Hydraulic, drivetrain and engine work across mixed fleet
  • Breakdowns, fault‑finding and general workshop maintenance
What you need
  • Proven heavy diesel mechanic experience
  • Strong diagnostics and repair ability
  • Reliable, safe, and able to work independently
