We’re working alongside a trusted commercial vehicle dealership in Wellington, currently looking to bring on an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic. This role offers a steady Monday to Friday schedule (7:00am–5:00pm) with 45 hours guaranteed each week.
This is an excellent chance to step into a long-term role with a Kiwi-owned business that values its people. You’ll be part of a modern, well-equipped workshop supporting a large and diverse heavy transport client base, with a team that takes pride in quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain a variety of heavy diesel trucks and equipment
- Carry out routine checks and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Work alongside a skilled team to meet daily workshop goals
- Uphold strong safety and quality standards at all times

About you
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Confident with diagnostics and fault finding
- Background working on commercial vehicles is highly regarded
- Dependable, team-focused, and takes pride in their work
