This is a Monday to Friday role working within a well-equipped workshop alongside experienced technicians who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. You'll enjoy variety in your day-to-day work while supporting a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles and helping keep New Zealand's transport industry moving.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair heavy diesel trucks and commercial vehicles
- Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation
- Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to achieve operational targets
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining strong safety practices

About you
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, and trailers
- Ability to independently carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to work well with others
