We have partnered with a well-established and respected commercial vehicle dealership in Silverdale, who are on the search for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. You'll be working Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm with 45 hours guaranteed. This is a great opportunity to secure stable, long-term employment with a Kiwi-owned family business. You'll be part of a professional workshop with great team culture, supporting a wide customer base across heavy transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service a range of heavy diesel trucks and vehicles
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team to meet workshop targets
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and reliability

About you
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on commercial trucks preferred
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
