They are now looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a large and diverse fleet of heavy equipment, working across both the workshop and field service. You will be supported by an experienced Workshop Manager and work alongside a team with a good sense of humour.
The role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, with every second Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of heavy machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Work across a fleet including loaders, excavators, trucks & trailers, and plant equipment.
- Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Competitive hourly rate: $40–$44 per hour.
- 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday + Every second Saturday

- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or strong hands-on experience
- Experience working on heavy machinery, trucks, or earthmoving equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Class 1 & 2 NZ Driver’s Licence (WTR endorsements advantageous)
