Work with a leading Christchurch-based heavy diesel workshop known for quality, reliability and long-term careers. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who enjoys staying busy and working on well-maintained fleets.
You’ll be part of a skilled workshop team, diagnosing faults, completing repairs, servicing trucks and carrying out preventative maintenance in a modern, well-equipped environment.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with Saturday mornings as required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing heavy diesel trucks
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Ensuring safety, compliance and top vehicle performance
- Completing job cards and workshop paperwork accurately
- $40–$45 per hour - based on experience
- Overtime available
