We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Diesel Technician to join our clients team in Hamilton. In this role, you’ll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of heavy-duty diesel engines and systems, specialising in trucks and trailers. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ vehicles and trailers remain safe, reliable, and road-ready.
This is a permanent, full-time role (45 hours per week) with generally Monday to Friday hours, and occasional weekend work may be required.
Key duties:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range truck and trailer units.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Perform major engine overhauls.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
- Permanent full-time role with stable, consistent hours.
- Competitive salary reflective on experience $40-$45 P/H
