An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced supply chain leader to join a growing national organisation in a newly elevated leadership position.
As Head of Supply Chain, you will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function, overseeing procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, logistics, supplier management, and operational performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by building scalable systems, improving efficiency, reducing risk, and driving continuous improvement across the operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can balance strategic planning with operational execution while leading a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectives
- Manage supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, pricing agreements, and service levels
- Oversee inventory planning, stock control processes, forecasting, and working capital optimisation
- Lead inbound and outbound logistics operations, including management of third-party logistics providers
- Provide leadership and direction to warehouse operations, ensuring safe and efficient processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics
- Enhance ERP, inventory management, and reporting systems to improve visibility and decision-making
- Develop KPI frameworks and performance reporting across the supply chain function
- Manage supply chain budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team

- Strong experience managing inventory, freight, warehousing, and third-party logistics providers
- Proven ability to lead and develop operational teams
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and operational performance
- Advanced analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems, reporting frameworks, and process improvement initiatives
- Understanding of international procurement, importation, and global supply chain operations will be highly regarded
