This Group Procurement Manager position is a rare opportunity for a commercially sharp procurement leader to build capability at group level, lead meaningful process improvement and play a key role in the set-up, implementation and ongoing development of Sage Intacct across the business. You will also take ownership of the QS function, bringing procurement, commercial controls and operational performance together in a high-impact role.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the sourcing of materials, supplier agreements and procurement processes across a highly successful and growing construction group. You will work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand business needs, negotiate effectively, improve compliance and deliver measurable cost, quality and performance outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement group-wide sourcing, supply and procurement strategies.
- Lead supplier negotiations and build long-term supplier and trade relationships.
- Identify new suppliers, products and market opportunities to support business growth.
- Create practical procedures that improve efficiency, compliance and cost control.
- Set, monitor and report on supplier performance KPIs across the group.
- Manage the QS function and support stronger commercial governance across projects.
- Contribute to the successful set-up, implementation and continuous improvement of Sage Intacct.
- Lead a small team, including goal setting, coaching and performance management.
- Prepare monthly financial and operational performance reports for the Senior Leadership Team.
You are an experienced procurement or supply chain leader with strong construction, civil or related industry exposure. Commercially astute and highly organised, you know how to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, influence stakeholders and bring structure to growing operations.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar procurement, supply chain or commercial leadership role.
- Strong technical procurement knowledge, including supplier negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Experience implementing procurement policies, procedures and process improvements.
- Confident leadership style with the ability to mentor, coach and hold teams accountable.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and knowledge of Sage Intacct
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Full Australian working rights and Australian driver’s licence.
- Ideally residing in Perth’s southern suburbs for an easy daily commute
