Takanini and Papakura are 2 of the fastest growing community areas in Auckland. We are seeking General Practitioners for these modern and well-equipped Urgent Care clinics – one is located centrally in Papakura and one in their purpose-built health centre in Takanini.
About Our Role:
- Partly a VLCA (Very Low-Cost Access) provider
- Patients and staff are representative of the area
- Provide ongoing training to keep up to date with regulations and have weekly full team meetings.
- Urgent Care Clinic has rostered shifts across 7 days, covering 8.00am through to 9.00pm.
- Use the latest version of cloud-based Medtech Evolution Patient Management System
- Foundation-accredited.
- Registered with MCNZ
- Current APC
- Primary care experience essential; exposure to urgent care advantageous
- Confident managing diverse, high-needs populations
- Strong clinical judgement with a collaborative and empathetic approach
- Commitment to equitable and culturally responsive healthcare delivery
- Hourly rate in line with experience
- A choice of employee or contractor arrangement.
- Enhanced remuneration for weekend shifts
- Regular, formal in-house CME sessions.
