This role offers a great mix of workshop and field service work, maintaining and repairing forklifts and other materials handling equipment. You'll enjoy plenty of variety, strong support from an experienced team, and the opportunity to develop your technical skills while working on a diverse fleet of machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair forklifts and materials handling equipment
- Carry out routine maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
- Prioritise workloads and manage tasks efficiently
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
- Identify faults and provide effective repair solutions

About you
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent trade qualification
- Experience with forklifts, heavy equipment, construction, agricultural, or similar machinery
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Well organised with good time management
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
