We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a supportive team and stable hours.

About the role:

You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment, operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts within the Raw Department. This role requires strong attention to detail, good numerical ability, and confidence completing paperwork accurately to support production and stock movement.

Key responsibilities:
  • Safely operate counterbalance and reach forklifts
  • Move, load, and store raw materials within the facility
  • Complete stock movement records and basic paperwork accurately
  • Carry out basic mathematical calculations for stock counts and materials
  • Support smooth workflow across the raw materials area
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts
  • Valid forklift licence with relevant endorsements
  • Full NZ Driver Licence
  • Strong basic maths skills (for counts, measurements, and stock accuracy)
  • Confident completing paperwork and stock documentation
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
  • Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
