We’re recruiting a Forklift Mechanic for a busy materials‑handling workshop in Whanganui. Straightforward role: diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and small plant for a steady client base.
What you’ll handle:
  • Servicing & repairs on LPG, diesel and electric forklifts
  • Hydraulics troubleshooting and mast repairs
  • Electrical fault‑finding
  • Preventative maintenance and safety checks
What we need:
  • Solid mechanical background (forklifts, heavy plant, or automotive)
  • Hydraulics experience a big advantage
  • Reliable, tidy, and confident working solo or in a small team
