I'm on the look out for an experienced senior operator or Foreman, who's ready for a change and new team. My client has a large forward workload for 2026 spanning the wider Canterbury region.
As a locally owned and operated Civil Contractor, their work takes them across a wide variety of projects, where no two days are the same. Your role will see you working across civil earthworks, roading, maintenance, playgrounds, foundations and more.
In this role you'll be required to supervise and coordinate several crew's work, including task allocation, progress monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant health & safety. You'll also be required to develop new business, quote, manage resources and client relationships.

- $38 - $45pr/h + Company Vehicle (Limited person use)
- Guaranteed full-time work with job security
- 45 hours minimum per week Monday - Friday (Saturdays when required)

- 2+ years experience in a leadership role in Civil Construction
- Ability to work across multi disciplines and operate a variety of heavy & light machinery
- Be a strong leader, able to motivate a crew and build long lasting relationships
- Health & safety focused, good written and verbal communication
- Competent in reading and interpreting plans and designs
- A clean, full driver’s licence with WTR and Class 2 (Ideally)
