About the Role
You’ll be working as a Fabricator / Welder in a busy engineering workshop handling general fabrication, repairs, and custom builds. Most work is mild steel, but experience with stainless and aluminium is a real bonus and will put you to the front of the line.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Workshop fabrication — cutting, measuring, assembling, welding
- MIG and ARC welding on a range of projects
- Reading drawings and building to spec
- General engineering tasks, repairs, and one‑off jobs
- Solid experience as a Fabricator Welder
- Confident with MIG (TIG a bonus)
- Any exposure to stainless or aluminium is a big plus
- Someone reliable, practical, and keen to work with their hands
- A tradie who enjoys workshop life, good banter, and steady hours
