We are currently seeking an experienced Knife Hand / Meat Processing Machine Operator to join a busy, well-established food manufacturing operation based in Mangere, South Auckland.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who brings solid meat processing experience and takes pride in quality, consistency, and safety.

You’ll be working across both knife hand duties and machine operation within a butchery/packing environment. The role involves preparing, processing, and packing meat products while maintaining strict food safety standards.
This role is based in a cool/freezer environment, so you must be comfortable working in cold conditions for extended periods.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating meat processing and production machinery
- Cutting, trimming, slicing, and portioning meat products
- Preparing and packing products for dispatch
- Conducting quality checks throughout production
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Proven experience as a Knife Hand or Meat Processor
- Experience operating production machinery (advantageous)
- Physically fit and comfortable working in cold/freezer environments
- Reliable with strong attendance and timekeeping
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Own transport preferred
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand (No sponsorship available for this role)
