Estimator | Short Term Contract | Perth Workshop
Short term opportunity available for an Estimator to join a busy mining workshop environment in Perth, supporting maintenance planning across mobile equipment.
This role is well suited to a trade-qualified HD Mechanic looking to step off the tools and apply their technical knowledge in a planning and estimating capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Compile parts lists using SIS based on scopes and inspection findings
- Estimate labour hours for maintenance and repair tasks
- Work closely with maintenance teams to develop accurate job scopes
- Use Excel to prepare and track estimates
About you
- Trade qualified HD Mechanic or similar background
- Strong understanding of CAT surface equipment
- Experience using SIS or similar systems
- Computer savvy with sound Excel skills
- Able to step into a short term assignment and add value quickly

- Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm
- Flexibility around hours given short term nature
