This is an established and well-respected business with a strong reputation for delivering complex three waters infrastructure projects across the region.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator, or a Project Manager with a deep understanding of drainage, pipelaying and the Auckland construction industry.
You'll be involved in:
- Reviewing drawings, scope documents, and specifications to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bids
- Calculating expenses for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Visiting sites to identify ground conditions, access challenges, and other cost factors
- Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Assessing project risks including weather, safety, and price fluctuations
- Setting project budgets and tracking costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Civil Estimator, or a Project Manager
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Auckland's construction industry
- Excellent technical knowledge of drainage, pipelaying and three waters infrastructure
- The ability to turn data into clear, commercial decisions
- The confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders where needed
