This is a unique opportunity for an electrician who enjoys hands-on work and isn't afraid to get involved in the mechanical side of maintenance, installations and repairs. Previous fuel industry experience is not required .
Our client is looking for a practical, mechanically minded tradesperson who enjoys fault finding, working with pumps, motors and pipework, and solving problems in the field. Approximately 70% of the role is mechanical and 30% electrical , making it ideal for someone who prefers a varied role over purely electrical work.
The Role Working across workshop and site environments, you'll be involved in:
- Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment and fuel management systems.
- Pump fitting, pipework installation and mechanical assembly.
- Maintenance and repair of pumping, storage and transfer systems.
- Fault finding across both mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Equipment upgrades, replacements and project work.
- Workshop-based repairs and maintenance.
- Breakdown response and site support.
- Occasional travel and away work as required.
- NSW Electrical Licence.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Experience working on pumps, motors, pipework, conveyors, hydraulics, mechanical equipment or industrial machinery.
- Ability to identify and rectify issues that may not necessarily be electrical in nature.
- Positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever required.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HRWL, Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space tickets highly regarded.
- Permanent full-time role.
- 38-hour week | Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 3:30pm.
- Mix of workshop and field service work.
