Stellar Recruitment are seeking a qualified NSW Electrician for a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client.
This is a unique opportunity for an electrician who enjoys hands-on work and isn't afraid to get involved in the mechanical side of maintenance, installations and repairs. Previous fuel industry experience is not required .
Our client is looking for a practical, mechanically minded tradesperson who enjoys fault finding, working with pumps, motors and pipework, and solving problems in the field. Approximately 70% of the role is mechanical and 30% electrical , making it ideal for someone who prefers a varied role over purely electrical work.
The Role Working across workshop and site environments, you'll be involved in:
  • Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment and fuel management systems.
  • Pump fitting, pipework installation and mechanical assembly.
  • Maintenance and repair of pumping, storage and transfer systems.
  • Fault finding across both mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Equipment upgrades, replacements and project work.
  • Workshop-based repairs and maintenance.
  • Breakdown response and site support.
  • Occasional travel and away work as required.
What We're Looking For
  • NSW Electrical Licence.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working on pumps, motors, pipework, conveyors, hydraulics, mechanical equipment or industrial machinery.
  • Ability to identify and rectify issues that may not necessarily be electrical in nature.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever required.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • HRWL, Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space tickets highly regarded.

Away Work & Travel This role includes an element of travel and site work, ranging from day trips through to project-based work lasting up to five days. Advance notice is generally provided for longer projects, while shorter breakdown and maintenance jobs may arise with limited notice.
When working away overnight, you'll receive:
  • An additional $15 per hour worked, including travel hours.
  • All accommodation paid for.
  • All meals paid for.
  • Company vehicle provided for work purposes.
