This is a true hands-on leadership role—not an administrative job. You will be on the floor driving productivity, holding the team accountable, and ensuring the project stays on schedule and meets strict industrial standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Field Leadership: Lead, direct, and motivate the site team daily—ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high technical standards across a full 6-day week.
- On-Site Problem Solving: Tackle technical challenges on the go and maintain momentum without getting bogged down in paperwork.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce site H&S protocols, run daily briefings/toolbox talks, and maintain a sharp, safe site culture.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee industrial electrical installation, ensuring work complies with drawings, specs, and regulatory standards.
- Qualifications & Tickets:
- Current Electrical Licence / EWRB Registration.
- Current Site Safe passport.
- Full Driver’s Licence.
- Proven Leadership: Strong, confident leadership style with a track record of running industrial electrical crews.
- Industrial Expertise: Solid background in heavy industrial environments. Experience with MCCs and water treatment instrumentation is highly regarded.
- Availability: Ability to work Monday through Saturday for the 3-month duration.
- Hours & Shift: Monday – Saturday schedule with solid hours.
- Rate: Negotiable wages (~$50/hr depending on experience).
- Perks: Accommodation provided locally in Waihi for the duration of the contract.
