What's on Offer
We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators for an immediate start on a slip remediation and bulk earthworks project in Helena Bay, approximately one hour north of Whangārei. Working alongside high quality crews, you'll be operating 20T to 50T excavators completing earthworks, loading dump trucks and assisting with slope stabilisation works. This role offers strong hours, six day weeks, up to two months of work and competitive pay for operators confident working on larger machines and challenging terrain.
Key Responsibilities
• Operating 20T to 50T excavators
• Slip remediation and stabilisation works
• Bulk earthworks and material movement
• Loading dump trucks
• Carrying out daily machine checks
• Working safely around crews and heavy equipment
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience operating 20T plus excavators
• Confidence working on sloped terrain
• Experience in bulk earthworks and loading trucks
• WTR endorsements
• Full Class 1 Licence minimum
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Reliable and able to work long hours when required
Qualifications & Tickets Required
• WTR endorsements
• Full Class 1 Licence
• Ability to pass a pre employment drug test
Nice to Have
• Class 2 Licence
• Site Safe Passport
• Experience on 30T to 50T excavators
• Previous slip remediation experience
