We’re looking for an experienced Truck Diesel Technician to join our clients busy, reputable multi‑franchised dealership located in Wellington.

About the Role
You will represent a well-known National company with several branches and business units across NZ that can offer career development and progression.
You will have ongoing OEM training and change to form part of their annual “Tech of the year” awards.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on heavy‑duty trucks using OEM diagnostic tools
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections to manufacturer standards
- Complete all repair work in line with compliance and road‑safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with senior technicians and support apprentices in the workshop
- Accurately record all service, repair, and diagnostic work in workshop systems
- Qualified Diesel / Heavy Automotive Technician
- 3+ years of qualified Truck or heavy equipment experience
- Strong work ethic + ability to work well in a team
- NZ work visa or residency/citizenship
