We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Project Engineer to lead large-scale industrial, mechanical, piping and infrastructure projects throughout the Wellington region. This is an opportunity to join a well-established New Zealand engineering and construction business delivering some of the region's most significant projects.
You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple workstreams, managing site teams of up to 20 tradespeople and subcontractors , ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

- Monitor project costs, productivity and programme targets
- Drive project delivery from commencement through to completion
- Background in industrial construction, mechanical installation, piping, fabrication, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, power generation or heavy engineering
- Proven experience leading construction or engineering teams on large projects
- Strong understanding of industrial works, shutdowns, piping systems or mechanical installations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Trade qualification, engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience preferred
