About the Role
You will be responsible for operating a concrete pump truck on residential, commercial, and civil construction sites across Canterbury. This includes setting up the pump, managing hose and boom placement, overseeing safe concrete delivery, and maintaining the pump truck to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate line and boom pump trucks safely and efficiently
- Set up equipment on site, including outriggers and hose/boom configuration
- Monitor concrete flow and quality throughout pours
- Coordinate with site supervisors, concrete suppliers, and ground crew
- Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on the pump truck
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site requirements
- Previous experience operating concrete pump trucks
- Full Class 2 NZ Drivers Licence
- Strong understanding of construction site safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, practical work
