About the role
- Operate CNC laser cutting machinery
- Load and unload sheet metal and steel materials
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Set up and run cutting programs
- Carry out quality checks on finished components
- Sort, label, and prepare parts for fabrication and assembly
- Previous experience operating laser cutters, CNC machinery, plasma cutters, or similar equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Physically fit
- Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential
- $35 - $37 per hour
- Afternoon shift allowance
- Monday to Friday roster
- Modern workshop and equipment
- Supportive team environment and on site training for new starters
