Our client is looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Class 5 Driver to join their Dunedin team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, enjoys being on the road and is committed to operating safely and professionally.
Working night shift, you'll be responsible for transporting freight efficiently while maintaining high standards of compliance, vehicle care and customer service. This is a long-term opportunity with a company that invests in its people and equipment.
Duties Include:
- Operating Class 5 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing freight deliveries and collections
- Conducting vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Managing load security and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Communicating with dispatch and customers
- Following transport regulations and company procedures
- Representing the business professionally at all times
- Current & Clean NZ Class 5 Licence
- Proven heavy transport driving experience
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Good understanding of NZ transport regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Great customer service and professional communication skills
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Have no criminal convictions
- Valid NZ work rights
- $34.00 per hour
