The Opportunity
You will be supervising civil and FRP works for an iron ore jetty development, working closely with site teams and contractors ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification. It will suit a Civil Supervisor who prefers contract work, or somone looking to fill in a short period prior to starting a new project.
Role Details
- Duration: 2 month contract
- Start date: Immediate!
- Roster: 2/1 FIFO roster (ex-Perth)
- Hours: 12-hour days
- Flights, Accommodation and meals provided in a camp scenario
- Vehicle, laptop and PPE provided on site
- Excellent hourly rate circa $90-100/hr + Super
- Supervise civil and FRP installation works and heavy lifts with crawler cranes (250-800T)
- Coordinate daily site activities, labour, plant and subcontractors
- Monitor safety, quality, productivity and programme requirements
- Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and project standards
- Drive strong communication between site crews, engineers and project management
- Maintain a proactive, hands-on approach to resolving site issues and keeping works moving
You will be an experienced Civil Supervisor (5+ years experience) with a strong background in civil construction, ideally with exposure to concrete, formwork, reinforcement, foundations or large-scale infrastructure projects. A relevant trade background and experience with Civil Contractors on marine and mining infrastructure for remote civil projects will be highly regarded. You will bring strong leadership skills, a safety-first mindset and the ability to keep crews productive while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced site environment.
