About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, as Civil Supervisor you will take ownership of day-to-day civil site delivery works, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, on program and to specification, by the civil contarctors on site.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising civil works across earthworks, concrete, foundations, underground services, drainage, roads and associated infrastructure.
- Leading crews and coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to achieve daily and weekly targets.
- Driving a strong safety culture through pre-starts, toolbox talks, inspections and compliance with HSE systems.
- Working closely with your team and client representatives to develop creative solutions for construction challenges
- Maintaining accurate daily reports, site records and progress updates.
You will be a confident Civil Supervisor with a strong track record leading and supervising remote Australian mine site projects, with the ability to keep people, plant and program moving safely.
To be considered, you will bring:
- Trade qualification or tertiary qualifications in civil/construction
- 5-10+ years experience as Civil Supervisor in Australia for civil contractors AND exposure working client side on industrial projects such as mine sites valued $100m+
- Previous FIFO experience delivering remote earthworks, concrete works, structural foundations, underground services, drainage and roads.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, Australian Standards and HSE systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and quality documentation.
- Excellent planning, communication, problem-solving skills.
- Construction White Card, current Driver’s Licence & First Aid training
- Circa $180-200K Base salary + Super.
