What you'll be doing
- Assisting with earthworks, drainage and general civil construction
- Helping excavator operators and experienced tradespeople on site
- Digging, trenching, backfilling and preparing work areas
- Moving materials, tools and equipment around site
- Assisting with pipe laying and underground infrastructure works
- Keeping work areas safe, tidy and organised
- Learning new skills and taking on more responsibility as you develop
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a good job
- Turns up on time, every day, ready to work
- Is physically fit and enjoys hands-on work outdoors
- Shows initiative and doesn't need to be told everything twice
- Is keen to learn from experienced operators and tradespeople
- Works well in a team and communicates clearly
- Has a genuine interest in building a career in civil construction
- Has reliable transport and ideally a Full Class 1 driver's licence (Restricted considered)
