About the Role

This is a key position within the business, sitting across finance, administration, and operational support. You will take ownership of the financial function while also playing a critical role in improving processes, reporting, and overall business performance.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide clear, commercially focused insights and help drive better decision-making across the business.
This role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to have genuine influence across a business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end finance, reporting, cash flow, and compliance responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to influence decisions and drive commercial performance
  • Improve systems, processes, and reporting to support business growth
  • Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
  • Prepare monthly management reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Support budgeting and financial planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, and statutory obligations
  • Support project costing, job tracking, and margin analysis
  • Assist with contract administration and risk management
About You

You are commercially minded, detail-oriented, and confident working closely with leadership. You bring strong financial capability but are equally comfortable operating across the broader business.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance, commercial, or business support role
  • Strong experience across reporting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
  •  High proficiency with accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Excel
  • Strong understanding of compliance, tax, and financial governance
  • Experience in project-based or operational environments highly regarded
  •  Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
