We're seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Engineer to lead innovation and growth in stormwater treatment solutions across the lower North Island.
This is a strategic technical sales position focused on improving water quality outcomes through engineered stormwater solutions.
You'll work closely with consultants, councils, and industry stakeholders to develop and promote cutting-edge products that support cleaner, healthier waterways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving business development across Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Palmerston North
- Building strong relationships with consultants, regulators, and specifiers.
- Providing technical support and develop engineered solutions tailored to client needs.
- Managing a robust sales pipeline and contribute to product specification and approval.
- Representing the business at industry events and innovation forums.
- Collaborating with a national engineering team at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure.
- Strong technical knowledge of stormwater systems and engineered water solutions
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across consultants, councils, and contractors
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Environmental Science.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for environmental sustainability and water quality.
- Full driver's licence and willingness to travel on a regular basis
