The current solar and energy market is running hot across NZ. This company designs installs and supports energy systems across residential, rural, and commercial sectors throughout New Zealand. Due to demand and a clear business strategy the time has come for this company to establish a permanent branch in Christchurch.
The role
Whilst initially, the role will be highly hands-on, combining installation work, project delivery, technical oversight, customer interaction, and operational coordination, as the branch grows, the role will increasingly shift toward leadership, team management, branch operations, and commercial growth with significant autonomy and influence over how the Christchurch branch develops.
About you:
- Full NZ driver licence
- Ability to lead, manage, and DEVELOP a high-performing team
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead projects and coordinate people effectively
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Experience with scheduling, operations, or branch management
- Ideally experience with solar PV and battery systems
- NZ Registered Electrician with, or willing to obtain, a Mains Parallel endorsement
Base Salary, company vehicle and a lucrative bonus structure based on regional performance and growth.
