This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who wants to step off the tools and build a long-term career in recruitment and business development.
You don’t need to come from a corporate sales background. If you understand the trades, enjoy building relationships and have the confidence to pick up the phone and start a conversation, we can help you develop the rest.
What You’ll Be Doing Instead of quoting jobs or managing the daily grind on site, you’ll be:
- Building relationships with businesses across the trades, construction and industrial sectors
- Speaking with supervisors, project managers and business owners about their workforce needs
- Identifying new projects, clients and recruitment opportunities
- Attending client meetings, site visits and industry events
- Introducing Stellar’s recruitment services to prospective clients
- Working closely with our recruiters to connect businesses with great people
- Developing proposals and negotiating commercial agreements
- Managing your own pipeline and contributing to the growth of our Brisbane business
- Full training and support to transition from the tools into business development
- A Monday-to-Friday, Brisbane-based office role offering flexibility
