Stellar Recruitment is on the hunt for an Automotive Technician – WOF & COF Certified to join a respected automotive workshop based in Airport Oaks, Auckland (South Auckland location) — an organisation known for its technical standards, quality workmanship and genuine customer care.

We’re seeking a technician who is currently living in New Zealand , holds valid NZ work rights , and is currently WOF certified and COF certified — both essential — and is ready to step into a role where their skills are genuinely valued.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Automotive Technician with a Level 4or 5 NZQA Automotive Qualification (or equivalent recognised in NZ)
- Current COF certification – essential
- Current WOF certification – essential
- Proficiency across servicing and repairs as this will be part of the role
- Proven workshop experience (5+ years)
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a process‑driven mindset
- Strong English communication skills — written and verbal
- Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out WOF and COF inspections in accordance with NZTA regulations
- Ensure all vehicles meet legal safety and compliance standards
- Identify and report any faults, safety issues, or non‑compliance items
- Complete required documentation accurately, including inspection sheets and compliance records
- Perform general servicing and repair work as required within the workshop
- Maintain a safe, tidy and compliant work environment
