About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established New Zealand manufacturer on a 5-week temporary assignment, supporting the business across accounts and administration functions. With a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable, you'll work across a range of systems including Xero, Unleashed, and Dext, while also assisting with general office administration, emails, and customer enquiries. This role would suit someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and confident learning new systems and processes quickly. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll receive training and play an important role in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly throughout the assignment.


Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices, payments, and records are processed accurately.
  • Work across Xero, Unleashed, and Dext to support daily accounting and administrative activities.
  • Complete account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
  • Respond to customer and supplier enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team and assist with day-to-day business operations.

Skills and experience
  • Previous experience in accounts and office administration
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Strong ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Confident using a range of software systems, with experience in Xero and strong overall computer proficiency.
