Matt Moulds is part of our Civil Trades team, bringing a strong foundation in leadership, relationship‑building, and commercial thinking to his work in recruitment.

With a background in professional rugby, Matt’s career includes a Crusaders title‑winning season, time with the Blues, Northland captaincy, and overseas stints. These experiences shaped his disciplined, team‑first approach and sharpened his ability to perform in high‑pressure environments - skills that now underpin his work with clients and candidates alike.

Alongside his sporting career, Matt has developed a deep interest in macroeconomics and financial markets, and has experience in financial advisory work. This has strengthened his commercial acumen and strategic thinking, enabling him to understand the broader market forces influencing the civil and trades sectors.

Matt is known as a natural connector and values‑driven professional. He brings a coachable mindset, asks thoughtful questions, and focuses on building long‑term partnerships founded on trust, accountability, and results.

Outside of work, Matt is based in Auckland and enjoys playing guitar, getting out on the golf course, and spending time with family.
