Born and raised in Christchurch, Blair Stewart began his recruitment career with Stellar Recruitment in 2017. Now a Partner and Division Manager within the Build Trades division in Auckland, Blair brings more than eight years of industry experience across both recruitment delivery and business development.
Blair is known for leading with honesty, integrity, and trust, values he sees as fundamental to building strong, long-term partnerships with both clients and candidates. His approach focuses on understanding project needs, delivering quality outcomes, and creating relationships that stand the test of time within the construction sector.
Before entering recruitment, Blair enjoyed a successful career as a professional rugby player, competing in New Zealand and overseas—including stints in France and with Super Rugby franchises. This background has shaped his disciplined, team-focused mindset and his ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Outside of work, Blair looks to his children for daily inspiration and enjoys staying active through padel and cricket, maintaining a strong connection to both family and sport.
