About the Role:
You’ll operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, assist with manual handling of awkward steel freight, and support day-to-day yard and production activities. If you enjoy variety and want a stable Monday to Friday routine with early finishes and regular overtime, this is for you.
Duties will include:
- Forklift operation for loading and unloading steel products (long, heavy, and non-standard freight)
- Strapping, hand wiring, and general labouring
- Use of hand and power tools in a production environment
- Yard upkeep
- Valid forklift licence and hands-on experience
- Experience with steel, timber, long pipes, or awkward freight
- Willing to assist across the yard and in production
- Physically fit, reliable, and ready to work outdoors
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork ethic
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Long sleeve hi-vis shirt
- Long work pants
- Laced-up steel cap boots
