About the opportunity:
Our client has been a trusted name in the heavy vehicle repair and maintenance industry for over 25 years. With six fully equipped workshops, they provide convenient, high-quality service to fleet owners across their districts.
They are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with leadership experience to step into a hands-on Workshop Foreman role at their Penrose location. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, with every second Saturday, and involves leading a small team, overseeing daily operations, and providing guidance and support to ensure the workshop runs efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanics
- Oversee maintenance and repair work to ensure quality and efficiency
- Manage workflow and allocate tasks to meet deadlines
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Complete any relevant paperwork
- Competitive hourly rate $46-$48 - Based on experience
