Warehouse Operator

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team based in Takanini. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 08:00AM – 04:30PM. This is a long-term, permanent role for the right person. You will report to the National Warehouse Manager who is also based in Auckland. Duties will include:
- Operating a Forklift Truck as well as a Reach Truck
- Picking and packing orders
- Devanning containers
- Putting stock away in the small warehouse
- Loading and wrapping pallets
- Completing local customer deliveries using the company van
- Receiving orders and preparing documentation using a computer
- Operating other machinery on-site a few hours a week including a guillotine and slitter machine
- Regularly lifting 20kgs of product
- Loading and unloading trucks
- You must have a valid Forklift license
- You will ideally have Reach Truck experience and a license
- At least 1 year experience operating a forklift truck
- You must be computer literate as you will be preparing documentation
- Good communication and be able to work alone and in a small team
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Able to regularly lift 20kgs
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Interested in learning new things
- Physically able (as there will be some lifting required)
- Keen attitude to learn and get involved
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
