About the Opportunity:
You'll thrive in a fast‑paced underground environment, working closely with supervisors, operators, and technical teams to drive safe, efficient production. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and contributing to continuous improvement across site.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing and optimising stopes, drill & blast plans, and development schedules
- Working directly with supervisors and operators to deliver daily and weekly production targets
- Monitoring performance, analysing data, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting ventilation, geotechnical, and survey functions
- Maintaining a strong underground presence and building effective working relationships
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Mining Engineering (or related discipline)
- Underground hard‑rock experience (2-5+ years ideal, but strong juniors considered)
- Proficiency with Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, or similar mine planning software
- Strong communication skills and a practical, hands‑on approach
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
