TTM Planner – Major Infrastructure Project
Location: Auckland
Salary: Up to $120k depending on experience
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated TTM Planner
to support the safe and efficient delivery of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) operations across a major infrastructure project in Auckland.
This is a key role where you’ll collaborate with operational teams, designers, and engineers to develop risk-based, practical Traffic Management Plans (TMPs). You’ll split your time between the office and the field, ensuring your plans are not only well-designed but also effective in real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document TTM design criteria, balancing safety, efficiency, and project needs
- Collaborate with internal teams and Road Controlling Authorities to gain TMP approvals
- Manage the full TMP design process from project handover to delivery
- Conduct site visits to validate and improve TMPs
- Communicate complex TMPs to stakeholders and support continuous improvement
- Mentor and support TMP Designers, providing technical guidance and feedback
- Assist with resource planning and installation scoping
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in TTM planning and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
- TTMP-P or equivalent competency (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in TTM planning
- Practical TTM experience (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Full Class 1 driver’s license
- High level of computer literacy
