About the Role:
This on‑site Sales position is central to creating a positive first impression at the branch. You’ll support customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email, ensuring every interaction is handled promptly and professionally. You’ll complete sales transactions, assist with product enquiries, and help keep stock and branch operations well‑organised. This role suits someone who thrives on variety, accuracy, and genuine customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all visitors promptly and deliver proactive, friendly customer service
- Answer enquiries quickly across phone, email, and counter with solution‑focused support
- Complete sales transactions accurately, efficiently, and in line with branch processes
- Enter customer, sales, and stock information into systems promptly and accurately
- Manage stock movement, returns, and replacements to maintain accuracy
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and well‑organised branch environment while supporting general branch activities
Skills & Experience:
- Proven customer service or sales experience, ideally in a trade or retail setting (electrical knowledge an advantage)
- Strong organisation and accuracy in handling transactions and stock
- Confident communicator who enjoys building rapport
- Comfortable using Point of Sale software, or similar systems with strong attention to detail
- Practical, solutions‑focused approach and willingness to support the team
