About the Role
We are seeking experienced TIG and Stick pipe welders for a major project with NZ Steel in Glenbrook, Auckland to start very soon. If you have the skills and experience to work with carbon steel and stainless steel, we want to hear from you!
Duties
- TIG and Stick welding on carbon and stainless-steel pipes
- Ability to weld pipes ranging from 1-4 inches, with potential to weld up to 30 inches
- Working on-site adhering to all NZ H&S codes and practises
- Listening and following instructions to supervisors
- Must be able to go to Tokoroa to do welding test before starting
- Able to pass ASME 9 Welding Test
- Experience TIG and Stick on carbon and stainless-steel pipes
- Must have reliable transportation and NZ Driver's License
- Must have Site Safe or similar H&S qualification
- Must have valid working rights in NZ
