Stellar Recruitment has partnered with Toyota New Zealand looking for a passionate and credible Technical Training & Development Team Leader to guide our Technical Trainers and shape the learning experience for technicians and service advisors across our nationwide retailer network.
About the Role
In this leadership position, you will:
- Provide strategic guidance on curriculum design and content delivery for technical training programs within your team.
- Drive training and development strategies for both technicians and after-sales functions, ensuring excellence in aftersales service.
- Lead a team of Technical Trainers across two locations, fostering capability growth and maintaining high standards of delivery.
- Develop and implement annual training plans, retention strategies, and succession pathways for technical roles.
- Stay ahead of emerging automotive technologies and integrate them into training programs.
- Automotive industry training experience – essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of light passenger vehicles and credibility in the field.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to design and deliver training frameworks and curriculum.
- A well-rounded understanding of the after-sales business and customer service dynamics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
