The Opportunity: 

This is a opportunity to join a globally established mining organisation during a period of sustained recruitment activity. The business operates at significant scale, with a structured and mature internal talent function supporting complex corporate, technical and operational portfolios.

Reporting into the Senior Talent Advisor, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment delivery across a defined portfolio. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, pace and quality, suited to an experienced internal recruiter who is comfortable working within a large, operational environment.

While some flexibility is available, this role is ideally suited to someone who prefers being office-based to support close collaboration with stakeholders and the broader HR team.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a large blue and white collar portfolio 
  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, confirm priorities and agree realistic timeframes
  • Manage recruitment activity from initial brief through to offer and onboarding
  • Prepare and post job advertisements and proactively source candidates via direct search and talent pools
  • Screen, shortlist and present high-quality candidate recommendations
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, pre-employment checks and onboarding requirements
  • Provide market insight, salary guidance and recruitment advice to stakeholders
  • Ensure recruitment processes align with internal governance, approvals and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate recruitment activity, documentation and reporting within the internal database 
About you

You are a confident, delivery-focused recruiter who values structure, accountability and clear expectations.

You will bring:
  • Proven experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Strong end-to-end recruitment capability
  • Experience working within large, complex or operational organisations
  • Background in resources, mining, energy, infrastructure or heavy industry preferred
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and work efficiently both in a team and independently 
  • Comfort working in an office-led environment, with flexibility where appropriate
